Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia confirmed for May 2 ‘Fatal Fury’ card
Garcia (L) v Haney (R) back in April 2024.

THE main three contests for Ring Magazine’s ‘Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves’ card have been announced for May 2 in Times Square, New York. Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO super-lightweight title against Arnold Barboza on the three-fight card.

Barboza was last seen defeating Jack Catterall in Manchester for his right to fight for the title. Lopez was last seen disputing his contract with Top Rank and has now teamed up with Turki Al-Alalshikh for this big chance.

‼️ ANNOUNCED: The Ring Magazine 'Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves' card on May 2nd will take place in TIMES SQUARE, New York and feature three blockbuster fights:

Joining Lopez will be Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney, but not against each other. The pair brawled last April with Garcia coming out on top before testing positive for a banned substance. ‘King Ry’s’ return sees him mix with Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero a heavy-handed fighter who was knocked out by Gervonta Davis in his biggest fight to date.

Haney meets Jose Ramirez, a former unified super-lightweight champion, who lost in a battle for undisputed to Josh Taylor and was last seen losing to the aforementioned Barboza over 10 rounds in Riyadh Season’s ‘Latino Night’.

The Pay-Per-Event will see Times Square turned into a boxing venue alongside the launch of ‘Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves’, a new computer game.
