MIGUEL COTTO and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez meet on November 21 to fight for the WBC middleweight title.

Roberto Duran, a legend in the sport who reigned as a world champion from lightweight to middleweight (in fact he is Boxing News’ sixth best fighter of all time), gave his prediction for the Cotto-Canelo clash.

“I think ‘Canelo’ is the new star of boxing. He has youth, power and even though he has lost a fight [to Floyd Mayweather], he has great qualities. Miguel Cotto is a good fighter, but he is not now at his best moment. I think Alvarez will win this match,” he told the WBC.
