WHILE challenger Chris Algieri had a nervy time of it, initially failing to make weight (see here), Manny Pacquiao sailed in under their agreed 144lbs catch weight. The WBO welterweight champion scaled 143.8lbs (WATCH HERE).
He gazed calmly up at Algieri when the two went head to head (WATCH HERE).
“I’m so excited to show my speed and quickness, like I did in those early days of my boxing career. I want to get back the hunger and aggression that I had when I was young,” Pacquiao declared. “I love to fight undefeated fighters like Algieri.
“It’s an honour to fight an undefeated fighter.”
