Tyson Fury has been called out by a world champion who, while showing a measure of respect, has promised to send the 37-year-old into retirement.

The ‘Gypsy King’ took care of business in his second warm-up fight against Mariusz Wach with a seventh round stoppage, after unanimously outpointing Arslanbek Makhmudov in April.

Having purposely selected the 46-year-old Wach as a low-risk opponent, although Fury didn’t look at his best, there were no hiccups in Pattaya, Thailand, yesterday.

The plan is then for Fury to finally lock horns with Anthony Joshua, who must first complete his own warm-up assignment against Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, tonight.

But while the former two-time heavyweight champion clearly has his hands full, he could nonetheless end up facing Agit Kabayel in 2027.

The 33-year-old was elevated from ‘interim’ to full WBC champion last month, shortly after Oleksandr Usyk vacated his three heavyweight titles.

As a result, the formidable body puncher is now searching for a worthy opponent, having not fought since his third-round finish over Damian Knyba in January.

Taking to social media, Kabayel called out Fury, with whom he has shared many rounds of sparring, and urged him to name a location for their potential clash.

“I’ve always had respect for you, but I think the time has come for you to retire. SEND ME LOCATION.”

In response, Fury reminded Kabayel of his two scheduled outings against Wach and Joshua, but said he would entertain their matchup afterwards.

Before then, Kabayel could enter a unification match with WBA champion Murat Gassiev, who also benefited from Usyk’s decision to vacate his world titles.
