BOXING Legend Floyd Mayweather Jr will be in Birmingham next month for an exclusive sporting dinner show at the Vox centre in the new Resorts World Birmingham.

Mayweather, regarded as the best fighter of his era, vanquished his great rival Manny Pacquiao last year and announced his retirement. The event, co-promoted by former Staffordshire heavyweight Scott Murray, Carl Cato and Spencer Brown, will take place at the new luxurious Vox venue at Resorts World Birmingham on Friday February 12.

“Floyd Mayweather is special and you wouldn’t believe the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes to get him here, however we are now really excited about this great night and a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the greatest world champion of our time,” Scott Murray said.

The Mayweather Show, starts at 7pm (Doors open 6pm) on Friday February 12 and includes a three course meal, and a photograph with Floyd Mayweather, plus a Q & A session, after dinner speech. Floyd will also be accompanied by local boxing legend and now BBC Boxing correspondent, former World Champion Richie Woodhall.

Tickets for the event start at £99 for the basic bronze category, or £299 for silver category which includes the meal and photo with Mayweather and £550 for the Gold VIP Package which also includes the meal and photo with Mayweather, and are available from the NEC Ticket Factory on 0844 338 8000.
