Undercard highlights
After the best fight on Goodwin Boxing’s undercard – the scheduled English welterweight title eliminator between Shepherd’s Bush southpaw John O’Donnell and Colne’s Shayne Singleton – fell through at three days’ notice – Tony Dodson must be classed as chief support. The 35-year-old ex-British super-middle ruler has his first bout in almost eight months. Dodson has fought sporadically in recent years and gets Harlow’s Richard Horton who has lost his last three, two of which ended inside the distance. Exciting light-heavy Wadi Camacho is on the bill and always worth a watch, while 6-0 super-lightweight power-puncher Kay Prospere could make a statement on the big stage.
