Wladimir Klitschko resents ‘giving Tyson Fury a platform’

Wladimir Klitschko prepares for Anthony Joshua

WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO has made his irritation with Tyson Fury abundantly clear.

He has rounded on Fury for homophobic remarks, looked nonplussed when Tyson tore off his shirt at a press conference and seemed perplexed when the new champion encouraged Klitschko to try to knock him out.

Klitschko took to social media today to hint at his level of motivation for their Manchester rematch next month. “The fact that I’m giving a guy like Fury a platform bothers me. I will end his reign on July 9 making it one of the shorter [sic] in the history of the heavyweight division,” Klitschko said.

Fury however is working hard himself. HERE he reveals he’s training “seven days a week” for his first world title defence.
