WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO and Tyson Fury have weighed in ahead of Saturday’s world heavyweight title fight in Dusseldorf.

Fury sauntered on to the stage, looking relaxed ahead of the biggest fight of his career. Klitschko strode on after him, fist bumped those assembled and offered the same to Tyson. Fury declined to bump fists or shake hands.

They weighed in with Klitschko scaling 111.5kgs or 17st 7lbs, while Fury was a touch heavier 112kgs or 17st 8lbs.

The pair stood before the camera before turning to face one another. It turned into a staredown with Fury refusing to look away as Klitschko gazed blankly into his eyes. Wladimir’s older brother, Vitali, a former heavyweight champion and now mayor of Kiev stood behind them, nodding with apparent satisfaction.

Finally, after a long, silent minute, the two broke off. And then Tyson acquiesced to a hand shake.
