I think Garcia’s for real. They wouldn’t gamble if they weren’t confident. But I think Luke seems to be working really well with Shane McGuigan and I just think it might be a tad too soon for Garcia. I think someone with Luke’s boxing brain and skills takes advantage of that, either late stoppage or points.

I like the Luke Campbell vs Ryan Garcia fight and I think Campbell has proven he is an elite fighter. I don’t think Garcia has proven it yet. So I’m going with a win for Campbell and I’d say Campbell by knockout.

Campbell is an elite level fighter. He proved that with Linares and then Lomachenko. That highlighted his technical ability and his brain power. I think his brain in this fight plays a massive part. In the first three rounds, if he can nullify what Garcia’s doing, I think he takes him to school.

It is such a great fight and one I am surprised Golden Boy are taking at this stage of Garcia’s career. I believe Campbell will outbox him and take it on the cards but there is a huge threat with Garcia’s power. Think this will get Campbell another world title shot while also being a great learning fight for Garcia.
