    Although he was a fully deserving victor in his super-middleweight quarter-final with Skoglund, Smith still had to endure some worrying moments at times in a lively and competitive contest.

    Dorticos advanced to the semi-finals in the second edition of the cruiserweight tournament by defeating the exceptionally durable Masternak, who never stopped coming forward all night long.

    Smith and Groves faced off in the super-middleweight final and fought on equal footing for six rounds. In the seventh, however, Smithโ€™s timing and power came to the fore as he secured a career-best victory.
