Should Dillian Whyte reschedule the Otto Wallin fight or hold out for Tyson Fury?

Michael Conlan
Unbeaten pro

Yes, I think he should. If a fight is agreed, it should be honoured. Wallin will have basically completed a training camp and has also got championship aspirations himself, so he deserves his chance.

Andy Clarke
Boxing commentator

He should wait for the Fury fight. He’s proven over the past few years that he’s not one to sit and wait but in this situation he should. The risk vs reward equation around that Wallin fight just doesn’t stack up at all. It’s all risk and no reward.

Wayne Alexander
Former European champion

Not reschedule. The WBC have stated that Fury’s next defence has to be against Whyte. Otto is a good, world-class heavyweight who could cause Dillian problems. Dillian’s been the top contender for over 18 months and I’m sure he will fight for the vacant belt if Fury chooses to vacate.

Jamie Moore
Top trainer

We’ve seen so many times how keep-busy fights have caused slip-ups in the past, and if Dillian didn’t get his opportunity after waiting so long, it would be criminal. Wallin is no mug. I’d wait it out for Fury.
