WBC champion Tony Bellew kept a firm grip on his title by destroying the usually durable BJ Flores inside three rounds in Liverpool.
He remains at No 5 as Flores was not ranked in our top 10. Bellew is hellbent on securing big fights, and one could come against David Haye – though that would take place at a weight higher than 200lbs.
Unbeaten Latvian Mairis Briedis comes in at No 10 after Ovill McKenzie is ejected for inactivity. Briedis – the WBC mandatory challenger – featured on Bellew’s undercard, hammering unranked Simon Vallily inside schedule.
Luke Campbell (No 10) retains his position after an impressive knockout win over former world title challenger Derry Mathews.
Mathews was not ranked, though was not far off it and considered to be a considerable test for Luke. The Hull man will now look to work his way up the rankings and into a world title shot.
