If Terence Crawford moves up a weight and wins another world title at 154lbs then he might be the Fighter of the Year because then he’s gone up four weight classes. If Tyson Fury fights Anthony Joshua, the winner of that could be Fighter of the Year. If Conor Benn fights Devin Haney at 147lbs and he knocks him out in the summer, then it could be Conor.

Zach Parker (Super-middleweight contender)

It depends on who wins the Fury-Usyk fight. That’s for the Undisputed Heavyweight title. There are the top guys like Terence Crawford who is my favourite fighter. He’ll be up there. You see his ringcraft and it’s second to none. I don’t see why Crawford will go up to 154lbs and help Errol Spence Jr out either (for a rematch).

Kevin Mitchell (Former world title challenger)

It could be Terence Crawford. He needs a mega-fight and needs to win a mega-fight again. It’s something he’s definitely capable of doing. For me he’s the best pound-for-pound fighter out there. There’s also Oleksander Usyk who is a great fighter and Tyson Fury’s a great fighter but if they fight, I don’t see Usyk beating Fury.

Declan Warrington (Sports Journalist)

If the right fights are delivered for him, Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez. He’s not only already the finest flyweight in the world, he’d automatically become the leading super-flyweight. The victory over Sunny Edwards showed he’s not only entering his prime, but how special that prime could be.
