Panel: Fury-Usyk aside, which fight are you most looking forward to in 2024?
Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol

Eddie Lam (Trainer)

I’m looking forward to Joshua fighting Ngannou. I’m wondering if that was a one-off good performance from Ngannou against Tyson Fury or did Fury have a bad day. It’ll be interesting to see. For me, AJ stops him because I think Fury looked bad against Ngannou and he put in a one-off performance. For my own fighters I’d say Sam Noakes vs. Mark Chamberlain and Skye Nicolson vs. Raven Chapman.

Mark Neilson (Promoter)

Dmitry Bivol vs. Artur Beterbiev. Like most boxing purists, this is the fight I’d most like to see. However, I’d love to see Joshua vs. Wilder. Maybe no titles on the line, but a huge heavyweight shootout between the division’s heaviest punchers would be edge of your seat stuff from the opening bell.

Steven Broughton (Trainer)

There’s a few fights I’m looking forward to. Nick Ball v Rey Vargas should be a great fight. I’d love to see Jaron Ennis in against Terence Crawford. Ennis looks like he might be the man to take over the mantle at welterweight. He’s looked fantastic up until now so it would be great to see how good he is. And Naoya Inoue against anyone. It’s just beautiful to watch him operate.

Sean Noakes (Welterweight prospect)

Bivol-Beterbiev. Boxer versus puncher for all of the belts, I’m really excited for that one. It’s hard to look past Beterbiev, he’s relentless and reminds me a bit of my brother (Sam). Bivol’s a boxer and mover but it’s hard to keep someone off you for 12 rounds. With Bivol he only steps just out of range so if Beterbiev goes and goes again it’s a bit risky for Bivol. I just favour Beterbiev.
