THE Kazakh wrecking ball was taken past 10 rounds for the first time in February when brave Brit Martin Murray showed true grit before wilting in the 11th stanza. “GGG” continued his reign of terror three months later by pinning down the slippery Willie Monroe Jnr and stopping him in six. He was then presented with arguably his most dangerous test to date in October – IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux. Golovkin duly became a unified world 160lb ruler by halting the Canadian in eight sessions.
