Top 10 Fight Camp bouts
  1. TERRI HARPER d pts 10 NATASHA JONAS
After a ferociously contested super-featherweight clash, the judges could not separate Harper and Jonas, with a split draw being the outcome. Boxing News thought that Jonas just shaded it, but it was a very tight bout.
  2. KATIE TAYLOR w pts 10 DELFINE PERSOON
Following their thrilling first fight the previous year, fierce lightweight rivals Taylor and Persoon staged another hellacious war in their rematch. Taylor was the winner again, prevailing on a unanimous verdict.
  3. ALEXANDER POVETKIN w ko 5 DILLIAN WHYTE
When Povetkin was decked twice in round four, a Whyte victory looked likely. However, the heavyweight veteran flipped the contest on its head by turning out Whyte’s lights in the fifth. The knockout blow was devastating.
  4. TED CHEESEMAN w pts 12 SAM EGGINGTON
Fireworks were expected when these two super-welter warriors faced off, and Cheeseman and Eggington did not disappoint. A unanimous vote went Cheeseman’s way at the end of a stirring, all-action affair.
  5. RACHEL BALL w pts 8 SHANNON COURTENAY
Ball and Courtenay engaged in a dramatic duel at featherweight, with the former taking the spoils over the distance. Courtenay was floored in the opener, but each round after this was desperately close.
  6. JAMES TENNYSON w rsf 6 GAVIN GWYNNE
There was no easing into things for lightweights Tennyson and Gwynne, who went hell for leather from the outset. They traded shots incessantly, but Tennyson’s greater power proved the difference-maker in round six.
  7. CHRIS KONGO w rsf 9 LUTHER CLAY
The momentum shifted to and fro in the high-paced tussle between Kongo and Clay, with the warring welterweights both battling for the upper hand. Ultimately, Kongo came out on top via ninth-round stoppage.
  8. JACK CULLEN d pts 10 ZAK CHELLI
Cullen and Chelli collided in a hard-fought super-middle scrap that the judges deemed a split draw. From BN’s viewpoint, Chelli seemed to have done enough to win, but he had to make do with a share of the spoils.
  9. ZELFA BARRETT w rsf 8 ERIC DONOVAN
Sharpshooting super-feather Barrett emerged victorious over Donovan thanks to an emphatic eighth-round stoppage, but Donovan had his moments and showed flashes of class in what was a well-matched fight.
  10. JORDAN GILL w pts 10 REECE BELLOTTI
The tenacious Bellotti never stopped coming forward, yet it was Gill’s intelligent movement and precise punch-picking that won the day. A unanimous decision was just rewards for featherweight Gill.
