  1. TYSON FURY vs ANTHONY JOSHUA
Boxing politics and legal disputes have so far prevented this all-British heavyweight megafight from taking place. For the sake of the sport, this is a matchup that simply has to happen.
  2. ERROL SPENCE JNR vs TERENCE CRAWFORD
These two American welterweights seemingly have it all in their arsenals, so a clash between them would no doubt be as competitive as it would be captivating. It is another contest that must come to fruition.
  3. GENNADY GOLOVKIN vs JERMALL CHARLO
A middleweight meeting between Golovkin and Charlo would present a fascinating dynamic – that of the veteran warhorse taking on the prime stallion. Would it be a maintaining of the current order or a changing of the guard?
  4. ARTUR BETERBIEV vs DMITRY BIVOL
Like a few of the fights on this list, a Beterbiev-Bivol bout has been touted for some time. Matching these fearsome Russian light-heavyweights against one another would produce a battle of beasts.
  5. OSCAR VALDEZ vs GERVONTA DAVIS
Valdez is an exciting, all-action warrior, while the gifted Davis is regarded as a potential pound-for-pound king of the future. Their styles would likely gel perfectly for a scintillating super-featherweight scrap.
  6. CANELO ALVAREZ vs CALEB PLANT
The sport’s premier superstar, Canelo yearns to cement himself as the unquestioned super-middleweight supremo. Plant would be a considerable underdog, but the odds have been upset countless times before in boxing.
  7. KEN SHIRO vs HIROTO KYOGUCHI
Japanese boxing has a rich heritage in the lower weight divisions, and Shiro and Kyoguchi are continuing this tradition. Let’s hope that the two light-flyweights face off.
  8. JULIO CESAR MARTINEZ vs SUNNY EDWARDS
Having already fought Sunny’s older brother, Charlie, fiery flyweight Martinez could well end up sharing a ring with the younger Edwards sibling at some point.
  9. KNOCKOUT CP FRESHMART vs PETCHMANEE CP FRESHMART
The fifth civil war on this list, a CP Freshmart derby between these two standout strawweights would set pulses racing in Thailand and beyond.
  10. GARY RUSSELL JNR vs MAURICIO LARA
Earlier this year, Lara catapulted himself into the upper echelons of the featherweight division, where Russell currently leads the way.
