The top 10 female boxers in the UK

Ranking the current top 10 female boxers in the UK, based on their achievements as professionals

BN Staff

7th August, 2020

The top 10 female boxers in the UK
  1. TERRI HARPER
Harper, from Denaby in Yorkshire, is the reigning WBC super-featherweight champ. She also holds the less well-regarded IBO strap at the weight. She has won all 10 of her fights so far.
  2. CHANTELLE CAMERON
Northampton’s Cameron has a dozen victories to her name and zero defeats. She has previously held the IBO lightweight belt and she beat the decorated Anahi Sanchez last time out.
  3. HANNAH RANKIN
She may have four losses on her CV (against nine wins), but Glasgow’s Rankin is a former IBO super-welterweight titlist who has gone the distance with top names in Alicia Napoleon-Espinosa and Claressa Shields.
  4. ASHLEY BRACE
Ebbw Vale’s 8-0-1 Brace had to settle for a draw when she attempted to become the European bantamweight boss, but the Welsh fighter went one better later on when she claimed the European super-flyweight crown.
  5. SAVANNAH MARSHALL
Hartlepool native Marshall has vanquished eight out of eight opponents in her career, four of whom boasted winning records beforehand. The WBO light-heavyweight title is firmly in her sights.
  6. STACEY COPELAND
Fighting out of Hyde in Lancashire, Copeland, 5-0, made history by becoming the first British female Commonwealth champion. The super-welterweight secured the belt on foreign soil in Zimbabwe.
  7. KRISTEN FRASER
Fraser has the distinction of being Scotland’s maiden professional female boxer, hence her nickname, “TFE” (The First Ever). The 6-0 Aberdonian is the current Commonwealth bantamweight title-holder.
  8. RACHEL BALL
Super-bantamweight Ball resides in Aldridge in the West Midlands and has five victories and one loss on her résumé. Her sole setback came on points against the unbeaten Katharina Thanderz on away turf in Norway.
  9. NATASHA JONAS
In her 10 bouts, super-featherweight Jonas has triumphed on nine occasions and lost just once. Since losing for the first time, the Liverpudlian southpaw has responded positively with three wins out of three.
  10. CHERRELLE BROWN
Islington super-lightweight Brown is yet to taste defeat, having had her arm raised in all six of her contests to date. She took Kirstie Bavington’s ‘0’ in her most recent outing.
