1. Wladimir Klitschko
Nobody gave Fury a chance of dethroning Klitschko when the pair met in Düsseldorf in November 2015. Fury was unproven; Klitschko had reigned for a decade. Yet after 12 rounds the world heavyweight titles had changed hands and the German fans were even quieter than usual.
2. Deontay Wilder 2
Fury told everybody who would listen that he was going to walk down Wilder in the pair’s rematch and chase a stoppage win. He then did just that, dropping and stopping Wilder in the seventh round of an alarmingly one-sided fight.

Despite a two-and-a-half-year layoff and some farcical comeback fights, Fury shocked plenty when he outboxed Wilder, the WBC heavyweight champion, for most of their first fight in 2018. The fight ended in a draw, however, due to two heavy knockdowns scored against Fury.
4. Dereck Chisora 2
Fury’s clinical and precise dissection of Dereck Chisora in 2014 was an early sign of his comfort and adaptability in the ring. Switching styles and stances, he forced Chisora to retire after 10 rounds.
5. Steve Cunningham
On what was Fury’s US debut, the ‘Gypsy King’ was decked heavily in the second round and struggled getting to grips with Cunningham, a former cruiserweight champion, before eventually ending matters in the seventh.
6. Dereck Chisora 1
With both undefeated, the meeting of Fury and Chisora for the British and Commonwealth titles in 2011 was quite the occasion. It was also a relatively competitive fight, one Fury edged on the scorecards after some entertaining back-and-forth rounds.
7. Christian Hammer
Seeing as Hammer went on to beat David Price and Erkan Teper after this fight, Fury’s eighth-round stoppage of the Germany-based Romanian was a win that improved with time. That said, Fury’s issues with UK Anti-Doping regarding a failed drug test around this time provide an asterisk.
8. Otto Wallin
Little was known about Sweden’s Otto Wallin when he was plucked from obscurity to face Fury in 2019. Yet he pushed the favourite hard for 12 rounds and cut him open, causing Fury to gut it out to get the win.
9. Martin Rogan
In 2012, Fury and Rogan met at a lively Odyssey Arena in Belfast, with a vacant Irish heavyweight title up for grabs. Boxing as a southpaw from the off, Fury would stop Rogan inside five rounds.
10. John McDermott 2
Fury struggled against McDermott in 2009, winning a fight many believed he lost, yet rebounded in fine style the following year to stop McDermott inside nine rounds. He showed improvements. He showed he had learnt his lesson.
