  1. NAOYA INOUE W UD 12 NONITO DONAIRE
Brilliant bantamweights Inoue and Donaire combined to create a spectacular final that was a worthy winner of Boxing News’ Fight of the Year award for 2019. A stunning showcase of elite-level boxing.
  2. JOSH TAYLOR W MD 12 REGIS PROGRAIS
The runner-up in BN’s 2019 Fight of the Year competition, Taylor and Prograis’ super-lightweight final was a punishing and pulsating encounter between two of the very best 140-pounders.
  3. OLEKSANDR USYK W MD 12 MAIRIS BRIEDIS
In the semi-finals of the first edition of the cruiserweight tournament, Briedis pushed the excellent Usyk harder than anyone has managed to before or since during what was a riveting, rapid-paced affair.
  4. MURAT GASSIEV W RSF 12 YUNIEL DORTICOS
The corresponding semi-final to Usyk-Briedis produced another thrilling tussle, with Gassiev and Dorticos competing on even terms until Gassiev concluded matters with a brutal and perfectly executed finish.
  5. JOSH TAYLOR W UD 12 IVAN BARANCHYK
Exhibiting sharp skills and impressive ring intelligence, Taylor reached the final against Prograis by overcoming the relentless aggression of Baranchyk, who refused to take a backwards step.
  6. EMMANUEL RODRIGUEZ W SD 12 JASON MOLONEY
This bantamweight quarter-final was a fight of two halves, with Rodriguez getting the better of the early action and Moloney coming on strong in the later rounds. Ultimately, Rodriguez just about did enough to win.
  7. GEORGE GROVES W UD 12 CHRIS EUBANK JNR
Groves and Eubank engaged in an eagerly awaited super-middleweight semi-final that was full of intrigue. Groves’ superior seasoning and fundamentals conquered Eubank’s stubborn tenacity.
  8. CALLUM SMITH W UD 12 ERIK SKOGLUND
Although he was a fully deserving victor in his super-middleweight quarter-final with Skoglund, Smith still had to endure some worrying moments at times in a lively and competitive contest.
  9. YUNIEL DORTICOS W UD 12 MATEUSZ MASTERNAK
Dorticos advanced to the semi-finals in the second edition of the cruiserweight tournament by defeating the exceptionally durable Masternak, who never stopped coming forward all night long.
  10. CALLUM SMITH W KO 7 GEORGE GROVES
Smith and Groves faced off in the super-middleweight final and fought on equal footing for six rounds. In the seventh, however, Smith’s timing and power came to the fore as he secured a career-best victory.
