BRITISH boxing royalty Amir Khan has announced his retirement after a thrilling and brilliant rollercoaster career with more highs than lows.
Meanwhile, the four sanctioning bodies – particularly the WBA – continue to stoop lower and lower. After stripping Josh Taylor of his super-welterweight title, they now don’t know what to do with the vacancy so are interviewing their leading six contenders to see if any of them fit the bill for a vacant title fight. Go figure.
