Don Charles:
Aside from my son, George Fox, who keeps slipping under the radar I’d have to say the amateur Courtney Bennett. Of all the heavyweights I’ve seen in recent years, and used for sparring partners for my fighters, Bennett is the one who’s impressed me the most. Keep an eye on him.
Thomas Hauser:
None of the young heavyweights stand out for me as “the best heavyweight prospect”. I don’t think that any of them have proven themselves yet, and it’s difficult to make an evaluation and say that one stands above the others until reality is separated from hype in the ring.
Paddy Considine:
Daniel Dubois is the obvious choice for me. I thought we saw limitations against Kevin Johnson but it turned out to be a great learning fight for him. He’s massively improved since then. Frank Warren knows how to bring a fighter along and is matching him correctly. He can be a world champion, no doubt.
Adam Smith:
Daniel Dubois. I was one of the many committee members of the British Boxing Writers’ Club who recently voted him as our Young Fighter of the Year. At just 22, and 14-0 (13), when boxing resumes we can’t wait to see him lock horns with fellow unbeaten Brit, Joe Joyce.
