It has to be when my brother Clinton beat Des Morrison in 1981. It was a fight that had everything, it was like a Rocky fight but of course with significantly more skill. I’m not ashamed to say I literally p**sed myself watching it. Pleased to say it’s the only time I’ve wet myself watching a fight. I was only 15 and couldn’t get out of there quick enough!

I’ve never seen anything like Nigel Benn versus Gerald McLellan in 1995. It upsets me to say that given what happened but the drama was something else. I wasn’t quite ringside, I was given a ticket by Steve Lillis and I sat and watched the whole card. I’ll never forget it.

When Liam Walsh beat Paul Appleby in 2011. It was the first night of BoxNation, it was the first time I was a co-commentator for the channel and it was an unforgettable night. I remember the heat in York Hall and the ridiculous atmosphere that you always get there. The fight itself topped it all.

Nigel Benn-Gerald McClellan just edges Anthony Joshua-Wladimir Klitschko. Very hard to split those two. The drama and brutality. The courage and skill. They were two fights that drew everything from the sport of boxing that it could possibly give.
