Nathaniel Collins (Commonwealth featherweight champion)

I am actually looking forward to it. I think from watching Jake Paul it’s pretty clear to see that he trains hard and takes boxing seriously, so it’s a shame he gets a bad rap. I think that Jake Paul beats Tommy Fury to be quite honest, but I am interested to see how it all pans out.

Michael Conlan (Featherweight contender)

I’m genuinely intrigued by this fight and am looking forward to it. We don’t know how good either of them is really. Jake has looked very good for someone who has only recently taken up boxing and Tommy hasn’t looked too good for someone who comes from a famous boxing family. I don’t know who wins but, going off their performances so far, I’d actually pick Paul.

Joe Gallagher (Trainer)

The kids and their friends are talking about it and they all can’t wait to see it. It is what it is. Jake Paul is bringing eyeballs to the event and Tommy Fury has to win.

Gareth A Davies (Journalist)

It’s a rubber-necking fest, but it is hard to say you won’t take an interest because of the jeopardy at stake, particularly for Tommy Fury. It’s a win-win for Paul, an improved boxer after three years taking it seriously, and a challenging moment for Fury, who is fighting for his family honour, and, some will argue, for boxing’s. If Paul wins, his spell continues. If Fury wins, it will not be a surprise. It’s a fight between two novices worth millions of pounds. Something of a freak show, but I will be watching it, and professionally, commenting on it live for TalkSport.
