Panel: If they fight next, how do you see Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury going?

Otto Wallin
Has boxed both Joshua & Fury

If Joshua and Fury fought now I would believe that it could be a good fight but I think considering Fury’s size and boxing skills that he would win.

Rocky Fielding
Super-middleweight contender

Joshua looked the best I’ve seen him but I’d still probably edge towards Fury for how elusive he is and his style. He might be too tricky for Joshua. I think it’ll be a close one but I’d pick Fury.

Matthew Hatton
European champion
A lot of people, probably rightly so, making Tyson Fury a favourite going in. But I think it’s a really good match up. I certainly wouldn’t write Joshua off. I think each fighter will be in with probably the best opponent they’ve faced. I think it’s a very close fight to call, I just hope we see it.

Tony Jeffries
Olympic medallist

Tough call but Fury wins on points for me. I think Tyson’s movement, footwork and granite chin and boxing IQ will be too much for AJ. But that being said I think if anyone on the planet was to beat Fury it would be AJ. This is a fight we need to see.

Ryan Rhodes
World title challenger

Sensible money would be on Tyson Fury but AJ could land a KO punch at anytime in the fight, so yes for now I’m sitting on the fence, when the two fighters are face-to-face I think we will all see a clearer picture on the fight and who the winner will be

Chris McKenna
Boxing journalist

I have a feeling Fury will fight Joshua like he did Klitschko as he will be wary of Joshua’s work inside and right uppercut. Wilder was different as once inside he couldn’t get his right hand off, Joshua still can. I think it will be messy with Fury edging it on the cards but Joshua is always improving.
