Andy Clarke
As a shining example of all that is good about boxing. Guts, dedication and perseverance in abundance, allied with plenty of skill, he recovered from early setbacks to reach the very top and did it all whilst staying true to himself. No trash talk, no bullshit, no excuses, a class act from top to bottom.

John Murray
Anthony Crolla will be remembered as one of the most dedicated and hardworking fighters Britain has ever produced. He was a real warrior who always put on good fights for the fans.

Mickey Helliet
Anthony Crolla will be remembered as a decent guy and a very brave, popular fighter who wore his heart on his sleeve and was prepared to face the very best in his division.

Nigel Wright
Crolla has been a great servant to the sport. He is someone who works hard, fights with heart and determination and is very proud of his roots. We almost shared a ring on a couple of occasions, but the fights fell through. He’s a top lad and has had a great career. He should be proud and enjoy retirement.
