AS for the Eubanks, they’re nuts, complete idiots. How can you be offered seven times what you’re getting to fight for the British title, to fight for the world title, and you don’t take it? It’s a backward step. His dad is impossible to deal with. There’s no logic there.
I’ve seen some criticism from Dan Rafael that Billy Joe Saunders is not fighting Gennady Golovkin now. Where can we stage that fight at this time of year? It’s a summer fight. It’s a stadium fight. So what is Bill supposed to do? Sit on his backside and wait until the end of June or July? He needs to be match-fit, he needs fights, and Max Bursak on April 30 at the Copper Box is not an easy job for him.
