IT’S been a long year for Josh Taylor, carrying an injured hand but absolutely determined to enter and win the Commonwealth Games in Scotland, his home country. Going head to head with GB team-mate and friend, Sam Maxwell, they both raised their performance as they advanced step by step through the competition. Taylor scored an impressive victory over Sam in the semi-final and would not be denied in the final, boxing with power and slick style.
