WHILE all eyes will understandably be on the main event, details of the undercard for Tyson Fury’s world heavyweight title fight with Oleksandr Usyk on May 18 have today (March 30) been confirmed.
Included on the undercard are heavyweights Frank Sanchez and Agit Kabayel, who will fight over 12 rounds, and cruiserweights Jai Opetaia and Mairis Briedis, who meet in a rematch with Opetaia’s IBF belt at stake.
Meanwhile, Wales’ Joe Cordina defends his IBF super-featherweight title against Ireland’s Anthony Cacace, Sergey Kovalev fights Robin Sirwan at cruiserweight, New Zealand Olympian David Nyika goes up against Michael Seitz, also at cruiserweight, and Brits Isaac Lowe (featherweight) and Mark Chamberlain (lihghtweight) will appear against Hasibullah Ahmadi and Joshua Oluwaseun respectively.
Finally, Moses Itauma, considered by many to be one of the world’s best heavyweight prospects, is scheduled to have his ninth pro fight in Riyadh.
