EXCITING super-middleweight operator Mark Jeffers looks to extend his unblemished record on the undercard of Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron’s hotly anticipated rematch.
While an opponent is yet to be revealed, it was announced just yesterday that the 27-year-old’s next outing will take place at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England, on April 20.
Jeffers, 19-0 (6 KOs), elevated his profile with a comprehensive victory over former British champion Zak Chelli in 2023, showcasing his technical prowess and fan-friendly style.
But while, at the time, his unanimous decision win was considered a sizable upset, the Brit has been presented with few opportunities to build on his momentum since claiming the English title.
Despite securing three victories last year, none of which were able to springboard him any closer towards a much talked about domestic dustup with Callum Simpson, who will instead face Ivan Zucco in June.
Outside of the ring, though, Jeffers continues to document his success at various Parkruns up and down the county, building a strong following on his YouTube channel.
But of course, his Chorely supporters will be far more interested in seeing him in a pair of boxing boots, as opposed to trainers, in April.
Elsewhere on the Whittaker vs Cameron 2 card, Bournemouth’s Lee Cutler will take on battle-hardened super-welterweight campaigner Sam Eggington in an intriguing co-main event.
Local fighters Frazer Clarke and Tyler Denny, meanwhile, are hoping to get back to winning ways against limited African opponents Ebenezer Tetteh and Elvis Ahorgah respectively.
