  1. Tyson Fury

The rematch may be in doubt, but when Fury dethroned Wladimir Klitschko last year we had the Ukrainian ranked in the top five pound for pound in the world. It remains a historic win.

  1. Carl Frampton

He unified the super-bantamweight division against Scott Quigg before taking Leo Santa Cruz’ WBA featherweight title. A phenomenal fighter.

  1. James DeGale

The Londoner has consistently proven himself as the best super-middleweight in the world and looks set to continue that trend.

  1. Kell Brook

The IBF welterweight champ put in a valiant effort against middleweight monster Gennady Golovkin, and has proven himself a force at 147lbs.

  1. Anthony Crolla

Britain’s most improved fighter, Crolla has beaten Darleys Perez, Ismael Barroso and recently held his own against Jorge Linares.

  1. Billy Joe Saunders

His 2014 win over Chris Eubank Jnr gets better with time and he won the WBO world title from Andy Lee last year.

  1. Lee Selby

The Welsh wizard dazzled against Evgeny Gradovich last year and is hell-bent on challenging the world’s top featherweights.

  1. Terry Flanagan

Though his WBO title win was dubious, Flanagan proved his credentials by destroying Diego Magdaleno.

  1. Jamie McDonnell

Two away wins against the dangerous Tomoki Kameda are remarkable achievements but the talented bantamweight is still underrated.

  1. Scott Quigg

He was edged out by Frampton and a broken jaw sidelined him after, but Quigg is a fierce talent and has his sights set on revenge.

Honourable mentions: Tony Bellew, Amir Khan, Ricky Burns, George Groves
