WORLD heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has taken to social media to claim he has retired from the sport amid allegations he tested positive for cocaine.

Following the announcement he had withdrawn from his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko due to being ‘medically unfit’, ESPN reported that VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) had found traces of the recreational drug in a recent test.

Earlier today, in an expletive-laden tweet, Fury once again insisted he is hanging up his gloves.

Boxing is the saddest thing I ever took part in, all a pile of shit, I’m the greatest, & I’m also retired, so go suck a dick, happy days.

Though Fury’s medical condition has not yet been officially confirmed, he is reportedly suffering from depression.

He has not fought since his historic win over Klitschko last November, though has claimed he is retiring before, only to then go back on that decision.

Due to the recent drug allegations, the unbeaten Brit is facing the prospect of having his WBA and WBO world titles stripped from him. The IBF plucked their title from his grasp just weeks after he won it from Klitschko for not being able to fulfil their mandatory demands.

However if he is definitely retired, he will be leaving the sport with an unblemished 25 fight record and as a reigning world champion.
