TYSON FURY has suggested his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko will be rescheduled for October 29 in Manchester.

The two were meant to fight on July 9 at the Manchester Arena but Fury sprained his ankle and had to pull out of the fight. The heavyweight clash for the WBA and WBO world titles was expected to be pushed back to later this year. On social media today Fury said: “16 weeks Saturday till I blast Klitschko spark out. And still! Can’t wait, Manchester, October 29. Let’s have it.”

There are however complications. A newspaper report has alleged unacceptable levels of nandrolone were unearthed in a drug test last year, although there has been no comment yet from official bodies and Tyson’s team have staunchly denied all wrongdoing.

In this week’s issue of the magazine, Peter Fury, Tyson’s uncle and trainer, tells Boxing News, “In my opinion it’s all to discredit Tyson Fury even further. I don’t see anything in all of it.”
