Tim Bradley is convinced that, if he faces one of his American rivals, Shakur Stevenson will end up losing his unbeaten record.
At this stage in his career, the 29-year-old seems almost untouchable, having become a four-division world champion and one of the sport’s top pound-for-pound operators.
Perhaps most impressive was his last performance, in January, when he dethroned Teofimo Lopez with a wide unanimous decision victory for the WBO super-lightweight title.
The closest he has come to losing a professional bout, meanwhile, was probably against Edwin De Los Santos, who he faced at 135lbs in 2023.
But even then, many felt Stevenson was the deserved winner following his sub-par performance, while the slick southpaw is now coming off one of his most comprehensive victories.
According to Hall of Famer Bradley, though, the elite technician would suffer his first defeat if he ends up squaring off with O’Shaquie Foster.
The 33-year-old became a unified world super-featherweight champion last weekend, dethroning Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO and IBF titles with a dominant points victory.
Having previously made several defences of his WBC strap, too, Foster is regarded as one of the most consistent and versatile operators at world level.
Speaking to ‘Ice Water’ on Inside The Ring, Bradley said he would back against Stevenson in their potential showdown.
“I just told the panel right now, and the whole world … I said: ‘You fight Shakur, I got you.’ They [the panel] picked Shakur, but I said I’m riding with my man Foster.”

With the two Americans having a history of bad blood, Foster would need to move up to 135lbs, or perhaps even 140lbs, to make their fight realistic.
