The Argentine slugger has not fought in almost a year after back-to-back defeats to Floyd Mayweather in 2014. Always in exciting fights, ‘El Chino’ would be a huge scalp if Brook were able to beat him. He was of course outpointed by Amir Khan in 2010 and Brook would be eager to look better against the 32-year-old. Although he is certainly beatable, having lost five times as a pro, Maidana does not go away easily and would ask serious questions of Brook’s championship credentials.
