Yet the manner of his victories ensured that his fanbase grew and the interest that surrounds him – initially created from his surname but now a bona fide attraction in his own right – looks set to skyrocket in 2022. Charismatic, ambitious and truly exciting to watch, Benn knows he has to step beyond his current level of opposition if he’s to really forge his reputation.
