Shakur Stevenson has made it clear who he would never be willing to step into the ring against.

Stevenson is currently preparing to move up in weight to challenge WBO super-lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez at Madison Square Garden in New York on January 31.

A victory would see Stevenson become a four-division world champion, having already held gold at featherweight and super-featherweight whilst currently reigning as the WBC lightweight champion.

Ahead of his bout with Lopez, Stevenson has been talking about other potential rivals he may look to face in the future, and has hit back at claims that there are many opponents out there he wouldn’t take on.

Speaking on the Art Of Dialogue Podcast, he revealed that there are only two fighters that he would never have any intention of ever fighting.

“A lot of people sit on these podcasts and these blogs and will tell you ‘Shakur won’t fight his people.’ I only gave you two people in the sport I wouldn’t fight. That’s Bud Crawford and Keyshawn Davis. I’m friends with a lot of these guys out there and I will fight them. That’s a big narrative that needs to be put to sleep.”

Crawford retired from the sport in late 2025 following his victory over Canelo Alvarez, while Keyshawn Davis is set to return for the first time in nearly a year when he competes on the Stevenson vs. Lopez card this month.

While a fight between Stevenson and Keyshawn may seemingly never happen, that hasn’t stopped Davis from making his prediction known for the showdown against Lopez.
