TURKISH heavyweight Sinan Samil Sam died today. He was being treated for liver failure and passed away early on Friday morning (October 30). He was only 41 years old.
He won the European title and secured wins over the likes of Danny Williams and Julius Francis. He finished his career in 2008 with a victory for his old European crown against Paolo Vidoz.
Promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland posted: “RIP Sinan Samil San. Full of sorrow today. Our former Euro heavyweight champ has passed away. Bull from the Bosporus.”
