  • If a fighter has been inactive for over a year, he will not be included in the rankings, unless he has a fight officially scheduled.
  • Each fighter is ranked on the results they have achieved in their own specific weight division (excluding the pound-for-pound list).
  • A fighter cannot be ranked in a specific weight division until he has competed in that division.

Pound for pound

Vasyl Lomachenko – arguably the most gifted fighter on the planet – remains at 10th with his dominant win over a disappointing Nicholas Walters. The supremely talented Ukrainian is undeniably brilliant, however does not yet have the CV to move him higher. Having said that, in just eight professional fights Lomachenko has proven himself one of the best in the world.

Heavyweight

Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko lose their No 1 and No 2 spots respectively. Neither man has fought since their fight last November, meaning they are both removed for inactivity. Unbeaten WBC champion Deontay Wilder becomes the new division leader. Bermane Stiverne is also removed after failing a drug test. David Haye, Andy Ruiz and Artur Szpilka move in to the bottom three positions.

Lightweight

WBO champion Terry Flanagan remains at third with his explosive win over unranked Orlando Cruz.

Super-featherweight

Lomachenko tightens his grip on the division with his win over Walters.
