QUEENSBERRY Promotions have bolstered their ranks with the signings of Chantelle Cameron and Aadam Hamed. Cameron is a former undisputed champion at super-lightweight. Hamed, meanwhile, has only had one professional bout and is the son of former world champion Prince Naseem. Both fighters were unveiled in London today.

Days after announcing a split from Matchroom Boxing, Cameron quickly found a new home, opting to continue her career under Frank Warren’s guidance. In 2022, she successfully unified all of the belts at 140 pounds by defeating Jessica McCaskill in Abu Dhabi.

She followed that up with a career-best display in Dublin, inflicting a first defeat on the previously peerless Katie Taylor. Things went sour in the rematch when Taylor gained revenge by majority decision.

After leaving trainer Jamie Moore, Chantelle announced that she was hooking up with Grant Smith as part of a fresh start following the Taylor defeat.

From world title ambitions to the other end of the spectrum, Aadam Hamed’s lone outing thus far was a stress-free effort against Vojtech Hrdy in Poland as part of the supporting cast for Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois.

Despite the illustrious surname to live up to, confident Hamed, who has started his campaign at super-lightweight, has always insisted that he is building his own legacy.

“I always wanted a UK promoter and I always knew in my heart that I wanted it to be Frank,” said Hamed Jr. “I felt like he’s always going to look after me the most. Big up Uncle Frank.”
