PAT McCORMACK is out of next month’s headline clash against Peter Dobson through injury.
The 28-year-old was set to top the bill at the Newcastle Arena on November 11 but he will no longer be able to box after picking up the problem during training camp.
It was set to be McCormack’s first outing since his impressive stoppage victory over Tony Dixon in April but he will have to wait a while longer to box again.
However, the show, which includes the likes of Mark Dickinson and Calum French will still go on with Matchroom currently working hard to secure a new main event.
It is understood that an announcement on a new headliner could be announced as early as Thursday.
