OLYMPIC silver medallist Joe Joyce will have the second fight of his professional career at York Hall on February 16. He takes on Rudolf Jozic, 4-1 (3), from Croatia.

York Hall is the scene of many of Joyce’s previous triumphs. He won his first ABA title there and has impressed at the venue with the British Lionhearts World Series of Boxing franchise.

At welterweight John O’Donnell will defend his English title against Tamuka Mucha, a bout which will also serve as an eliminator for the British title.

Hot prospect Willy Hutchinson will also be on the bill, that Dave will broadcast.

“I’m extremely excited to be back in York Hall after so many years for Hayemaker Ringstar’s second Fight Night. This will certainly be a night to remember, since Hayemaker Ringstar’s first event, the stable have been training hard and cannot wait to get back out there. I am confident we will have another very successful evening emulating our opening event held last year in the Indigo, 02. I have no doubt that both Joyce and Hutchinson are future world champions so it is fantastic to be able to introduce them to such a wide audience from their start of their professional careers,” said promoter David Haye.

“The crowd is in for a thrilling night, with our packed card, and I’m predicting some fierce knockouts. Many were surprised Joyce took on such a challenging opponent [as Ian Lewison] for his professional debut but he proved his worth and in my eyes is definitely ready for this next challenge.”
