Naoya Inoue and Ye Joon Kim hit the scales ahead of undisputed showdown
Naoya Inoue and Ye Joon Kim

NAOYA Inoue and Ye Joon Kim have both weighed in below the 122 lb limit ahead of tomorrow’s undisputed super bantamweight clash.

The pair will square off at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, with Inoue, 28-0 (25 KOs), putting his WBC, WBO, IBF, WBA and Ring Magazine titles on the line.

Kim, 21-2-2 (13 KOs), has stepped in on less than two weeks’ notice after WBO and IBF mandatory challenger Sam Goodman was forced to pull out with an eye injury.

And so, with South Korea’s Kim being the only non-Japanese combatant on the card, the almighty underdog has undoubtedly been presented with the most formidable test of his career.
