Miguel Cotto Canelo Alvarez promises fistic fireworks

NEW YORK — Fans filled the rafters, though they were quickly whisked away.

They lined the back of the ballroom and chanted in unison “move the cameras,” referring to the equipment blocking the view of their heroes.

Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez arrived at the New Yorker hotel on Wednesday for the third leg of the press tour ahead of their Nov. 21 middleweight championship bout on HBO pay-per-view (at a catchweight of 155 pounds), and their legions of supporters came out in droves.
