World-class middleweight Martin Murray talks about his future with George Gigney – in this week’s issue of Boxing News magazine.

THERE’S been talk of a potential fight between you and Paul Smith; would that interest you at this stage?
It’s a difficult one. I get on with Paul and what it comes down to is – what’s the benefit? At this stage there’s been no talk of money and the main thing I need from a fight is for it to get me a good ranking. We don’t know what that would do for either of us in terms of world rankings. It would do really well over here though, we’d probably sell out the Echo Arena [in Liverpool].
