MANNY PACQUIAO has vowed to continue his boxing career despite being stunned by underdog Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia earlier this month.

The Filipino icon lost his WBO welterweight title when former schoolteacher Horn outpointed him on a razor-thin decision at the Suncorp Stadium on July 2.

Pacquiao has the right to a rematch and looks set to pursue that option as the 38-year-old has shrugged off calls for retirement.

“I love this sport and until the passion is gone, I will continue to fight for God, my family, my fans and my country,” he wrote on social media.

Manny looked flat against Horn just over a week ago and plenty of observers and insiders suggested he should call time on his Hall of Fame career.

However, in confirming he will fight on his team will now work toward his next move, most likely a return with Horn and Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, has suggested that could also take place in Australia.

Prior to losing to Horn, Pacquiao had been planning a world tour and was looking to box in countries all over the planet. For now, those plans are on hold as he must surely seek to avenge his most recent loss.

His decision comes after the WBO recently re-scored the fight, finding that Horn was a deserved winner.
