Lennox Lewis has revealed who he deems to be the two greatest heavyweights of all time.

Lewis is often named in that conversation himself, after a stellar career which began with the a gold medal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.

He would go on to become a three-time world heavyweight champion, along with earning undisputed honours after victories over fellow greats such as Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Vitali Klitschko.

Lewis did suffer two defeats in his career to Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman, but he was able to avenge both of those losses, meaning the British-Canadian beat every fighter he went up against.

Despite all of his success, Lewis thinks there are two men above him who deserve the right to be called the greatest, as he revealed in an appearance on Fox.

“Jack Johnson, Muhammad Ali.”

Johnson was the first black world heavyweight champion, and because of his success is widely regarded as one of the most influential boxers in history.

He held his world title from 1908 to 1915, notably defending his belt against James J Jeffries in a bout dubbed as the ‘Fight Of The Century.’

Another man that competed in a fight that was coined the ‘Fight Of The Century’ was Ali, who himself had a huge influence not only in boxing but to the wider society.

He was a three-time world heavyweight champion, earning wins over legendary rivals like George Foreman and Joe Frazier, and it is clear to see just why Lewis holds both Ali and Johnson in such high esteem.
