JOSH WARRINGTON took a step closer to a world title shot as he overwhelmed Dennis Ceylan on Saturday at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

Swarming all over his opponent, Warrington knocked an exhausted Ceylan down in the 10th round before smashing the Dane down with a final left hook, ending it at 1-43.

He called for a fight with IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby next. “I will win that fight, simple as that. It doesn’t matter how it comes. I will win that world title. I’ve dreamed about it. I want it so much,” he said. “Get the fight made and I’ll show that.”
