Jack Catterall vs. Regis Prograis rescheduled for October 26
Manchester, UK: Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis Face Off Outside the Co Op Live Arena at a Launch Press Conference ahead of their fight on August 24.

JACK Catterall’s clash with Regis Prograis has been rescheduled for October 26. They were originally set to meet on August 24, but Catterall withdrew after suffering an injury in training. Manchester’s Co-op Live arena remains the venue of choice.

Quite how the delay impacts either fighter remains to be seen. Neither can afford to wait, as their respective careers need a victory boost.

Catterall’s win over Josh Taylor closed that chapter and pushed him closer to the same world level Regis Prograis had become accustomed to, before his one-sided defeat to Devin Haney.

Catterall, 31, is 29-1 as a pro with 13 knockouts. His style is built around smart, pragmatic counterpunching behind a sharp southpaw jab.

Prograis is four years older and also a southpaw with 29 wins. Regis has been beaten twice, most recently by the aforementioned Haney and previously in the WBSS final by Josh Taylor. It was Taylor who controversially inflicted Jack Catterall’s sole career loss. Prograis is the noted puncher of the pair, boasting 24 early finishes.
