Jack Catterall and Harlem Eubank hit the scales

Jack Catterall vs Harlem Eubank Weigh-in

JACK Catterall and Harlem Eubank, two super-lightweight fighters masquerading as welterweight contenders, both kept below the 147lb limit at today’s weigh-in.

The pair will square off in an intriguing crossroads clash tomorrow night, headlining a Matchroom Boxing card at the Manchester Arena, England.

Eubank, 21-0 (9 KOs), to his credit, has amassed two welterweight victories within the past 10 months, while Catterall, 30-2 (13 KOs), is yet to properly experiment with the extra 7lbs.

In any case, the Chorley man has competed at a much higher level than his next opponent, losing only to Josh Taylor and Arnold Barboza Jr in two highly-contentious encounters.

Eubank, however, is no slouch, either, with the promising operator coming off a punishing tenth-round stoppage victory over Tyrone McKenna.

Regardless of who emerges victorious, though, the winner could quite swiftly find himself within touching distance of a world title shot.
